Dr. Eric Vandenhouten is the owner of a U.S.A. Wisconsin-based small business 
GLOBAL WISCONSIN GINSENG TRADING LTD. (GWGT). GWGT has exported Wisconsin ginseng to East Asian nations for over 10 years and is an industry service leader. GWGT provides consulting services, Oriental medicine material export, and Oriental medicine material import services.
As of 2018 to present GWGT is the official Medical Research consultant for the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin, Inc. (GBW). In 2017 GWGT was initially recruited by the GBW
to be the official International Marketing consultant for GWGT's PRC international Oriental medical material wholesale trading market share, expert industry knowledge, and highest ethical business standards. Due to a conflict of interest, GWGT moved to the official GBW Medical Research consultant in 2018 where Dr. Eric Vandenouten could utilize his Oriental medicine expertise to further the Wisconsin ginseng industry through education and medical research.
